Jimmy " The Commie Lover" Carter
Perhaps when Jimmy Carter was born, the attending physician dropped the child on his head, which would help to explain Carter's lifelong foolishness.
Over and over again, Carter broke a cardinal rule of former presidents: to never criticize the sitting president publicly. It's an unspoken rule, and one that has been observed, by and large, by all former presidents. They may critique current POLICY in an interview or op-ed. But they may not criticize the sitting president PERSONALLY ever. Ever.
Until now. Until the 39th president opened his mouth.
Carter said, "I think as far as the adverse impact on the nation around the world, this administration has been the worst in history."
Wow. That takes some nerve, coming from one of the ACTUAL worst presidents in U.S. history. Let's take a short walk down memory lane, shall we?
During Carter's presidency, 53 Americans were taken hostage by the Islamic regime in Iran and held for 444 days, while Carter stood around, impotent. It was only when Ronald Reagan had been elected did the Ayatollah finally fear the United States and release them.
During Carter's presidency, the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, allowing our Cold War nemesis to pick up a strategic asset. Once again, Carter stood around, impotent.
During Carter's presidency, double-digit inflation ran rampant. So did sky-high unemployment and rocketing interest rates. The prime rate reached 21.5% at the tail end of Carter's term, the highest under any president. The economy was in freefall. It was a stagflation-driven recession. And again, Carter stood around, impotent.
During Carter's presidency, there were tremendous oil shortages. The energy supply cratered. Once again, Carter stood around, impotent. Except for the cardigan sweater he routinely wore as a way to solve the nation's energy crisis.
During Carter's presidency, America was in such bad shape that he actually ordered the White House Christmas decorations to go dark in 1979 and 1980. Grinch!
Quite a stellar record, no? Time and again, Carter allowed America's enemies to push her around. He behaved like a coward, scared of his own shadow, and unwilling to use America's great strength to stand up to the world's bullies. Sure, he guided the final stages of the Camp David Accords between Israel and Egypt. But those discussions---and the heavy diplomatic lifting---began under Richard Nixon and continued through Gerald Ford. Carter could have screwed it up, and to his credit, he didn't.
But one diplomatic success does not offset the long string of dangerous failures. "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?," Reagan famously asked during the 1980 campaign. The answer was a resounding "no," and Reagan defeated Carter in a landslide.
Carter got a lot of criticism for talking about our "national malaise." But he was right: we were in a funk. He just didn't understand that HE was the reason for the funk. It was HIS failure of leadership, HIS demonstrations of weakness, HIS impotence that led to the "malaise." He talked about it like it was somebody's else fault.
You know what they say about people who live in glass houses. This is why Carter tried to backtrack on his comments about Bush, calling them "maybe careless or misinterpreted." They were careless but they weren't misinterpreted. Those comments reflected who Carter is: petty, small-minded, dishonorable.
Bush is far from perfect, but at least he got in the fight against our enemies. He didn't always do it well, but at least he did it. Carter spent his presidency standing around, impotent.
President Carter was the perfect picture of a HYPOCRITE! While making HUMAN RIGHTS of paramount concern in foreign policy, he never met a dictator or tyrant he did not loike enough to coddle up to. There were those photos of him kissing up to Fidel Castro and Yassar Arafat. And after leaving office, his kissed up to Hugo Chavez who has assumed dictatorial power in Venezuala and is sizing private property and businesses like the Socialist dictator Mugabe did in Zimabue. He will find out that when you do what fails in other countries, you get the same outcome.
And Carter allowed our Military and intelligence services to be gutted and emasculated by spending cuts and law changes that handcuffed their operations to this day.

Black House Leader Criticizes Bill Clinton
One of the nation’s most influential African-American political leaders sharply criticized former President Bill Clinton on Thursday afternoon for what he called his “bizarre” conduct during the Democratic primary campaign. The black leader, Representative James E. Clyburn, an undeclared superdelegate from South Carolina and the third-ranking Democrat in the House, said “black people are incensed over all of this.
Mr. Clyburn urged Mr. Clinton “to chill a little bit.”
It appears as if Bubba is finally beginning to suffer the consequences of his vocal stupidity .... just like the other infamous ex-president, Jimmah Cahtah.
I guess that the blacks are beginning to figure out that Bill is not their President after all.

Why Clinton Is Fighting So Hard?
Thirteen rallies in three days, five in Indiana and eight in North Carolina, is how Bill Clinton is spending his time. Both states vote on May 6, and Hillary's got to win at least one of them. The former president is working harder on the road to get Hillary elected than he did in 1996 to get himself re-elected, judging by the jam-packed schedule of "Solutions for America" events staged in school gymnasiums from morning until night in all corners of the two states. Except for an occasional red-faced outburst over a media slight or someone's perceived disloyalty, he's soldiering away with extraordinary discipline.
The reason he's working so hard on his wife's behalf is that he sincerely believes she would make a good president, better than he was, if daughter Chelsea's word is taken to heart. He's also doing penance for how much he humiliated her when he was president, and even for some of his missteps in this campaign, mostly having to do with race. But perhaps most important, Clinton understands that if Barack Obama is elected, his presidency becomes an asterisk

Why I Support John McCain
Why I Support John McCain
I’m supporting John McCain for these simple reasons.
The Republican Party is facing quite the battle in 2008. All trends were leaning Democrat up until recently. Yes up until the 2 democratic candidates began to shoot each other in the foot. And the current Republican President George Bush’s approval rating is in the toilet. We all know that. Makes no difference if we agree with that appraisal or not, facts are fats. People are frustrated with him and even the word Republican has a negative approval rating. Our party needs to unite behind a candidate that can transcend the negative view of Republicans and win back the all important independents and appeal to the crossover Democrats. We cannot be obsessed with finding the perfect candidate for our views; the past few months have shown us that it’s just not going to happen. So rather we need to look to who would bridge the partisan divide in this country and lead this country in the right direction.
John McCain is that person, not just for the Republican Party, but for the United States of America. His proven record of appealing to independents and crossover Democrats is exactly what stands out as his biggest strength.
I realize that some or maybe the correct word is “many” conservatives have a real problem with Senator McCain. There is no denying that John McCain has stood on his own at times rather than with siding with the conservative base of the party. There is also no denying he is more willing to work with Democrats then some Conservatives would like. I myself don’t know if thats really a negative thing. I would call these strengths, but some Republicans would call it his greatest weakness. But whatever. I’d like to think that those people are wrong and that John McCain is a conservative!
He has an 83% rating from the American Conservative Union and is often the biggest deficit and spending hawk in the US Senate. Some Republicans dislike him because he originally opposed the Bush Tax Cuts twice, but it was a key conservative issue that led him to oppose the cuts: there were no spending cuts to offset the tax cuts. A common conservative complaint against the Bush administration and some other Republicans is that they let spending get out of control, John McCain realized that and understood the cause for concern so he opposed the tax cuts, never mind the fact that he now says he wants to make those tax cuts permanent. John McCain is a STRONG fiscal conservative; he has never asked or received one earmark. He leads the charge against pork-barrel spending and would veto every single pork filled bill that is sent to his desk as President and make the authors famous. Ask Jack Abramoff and his cronies just how tough John McCain is on pork-barrel spending.
Ask The Bridge to Nowhere and Hillary Clinton’s would-be hippie museum just how tough John McCain is on reckless spending. This is exactly why America is worried about the economy, politicians are in Washington spending our taxpayer dollars on useless gifts to their campaign contributors and John McCain is the person who can finally stop this culture of corruption. McCain also realizes more needs to be done on the economy, that’’s why he proposes repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax , something that would save one middle class with children an average of over $2,700. McCain is also a very strong advocate for pro-growth and free-trade policies. He would give tax credits for innovation (research and development) that would keep America competitive and business-friendly.
And then there is John McCain’s weakest issue among conservatives and that just might be immigration. But I think that he has heard their message and the message of the American people and would secure the borders first and have the border state Governor’s certify that their borders are secured. Republicans need to realize however that after that is done, we need to take a realistic and humane approach to how to deal with the 12 million plus illegal immigrants in this county. John McCain’s campaign suffered greatly because of the bill that was unfairly labeled “Amnesty”. The bill was not in fact amnesty, because it required illegal immigrants to return home and pay fines, learn English, and other things to get on the path to citizenship. John McCain would deport the 2 million plus illegal immigrants that have committed crimes and make sure the borders are in fact secure before even working on the very real and complex problem of the illegal immigrants already in the country.
John McCain’s strongest issue is National Security and Foreign Affairs. He is hands down the most experienced candidate on both sides of the aisle when it comes to these issues. He was right to criticize the Rumsfeld strategy for Iraq and was the surge’s biggest supporter when it was an unpopular idea. John McCain knows just how important it is to listen to the Generals rather than play politics with our troops. His experience on foreign affairs is even greater, he’s been involved in every major national conflict since even before he was elected to Congress. We need a leader who needs no on the job training and is prepared to lead day one and keep America safe. John McCain is that leader for America and we can trust him to make the right decisions to keep this country secure from radical extremists.
John McCain is an American Hero. His days as a POW have made him into the tough character that he is today and makes him stand out amongst any of the other candidates. He takes strong positions on controversial issues like torture and earns the respect of everyone as someone who can restore the moral authority America once had around the world.

Last Friday in Mississippi, stumping for the Magnolia State's Tuesday primary, Sen. Clinton told voters, "You've got to make a choice. A lot of people wish they didn't have to. A lot of people say 'I wish I could vote for both of you.' Well that might be possible some day. But first I need your help on Tuesday."
This weekend on the trail, Bill Clinton went further, calling a Clinton-Obama ticket an "almost unstoppable force."
"I know that she has always been open to it," the former president said, "Because she believes that if you can unite the energy and the new people that he's brought in and the people in these vast swaths of small town and rural America that she's carried overwhelmingly, if you had those two things together she thinks it'd be hard to beat."
Citing their demographic strengths, Clinton said of Sen. Obama and his wife, "he would win the urban areas and the upscale voters, and she wins the traditional rural areas that we lost when President Reagan was president."
As Al Gore joked on Saturday Night Live years ago, picking a vice president can be like an episode of "The Bachelor."
"I respect all of you. And I wish I could have three running mates, but it's just not constitutionally viable," Gore said, holding up a single long-stemmed rose in a skit where he selected Joe Lieberman over John Kerry and John Edwards. "I've made my decision."
But Obama and his allies feel this is more like an undesired arranged marriage, and a shotgun one at that.
Why should Obama accept what Clinton is saying about having a dream team? Don't you see what Hillary is doing, trying to say vote for me and Obama will be my VP. Well, Obama is leading in the race, Obama won more States, got more delegates, just winning period. So for Clinton to say Obama will be her VP and we can make a dream team is wrong. Obama's Speech
Here's something to keep in mind when Obama makes his speech today. He has put words into Rev. Wright's mouth that Wright never said. I’ve read the sermon and no where can I find the passages in it as stated by Obama in his book. How odd. Obama wants us to believe that in 20 years he hasn't heard what the Rev. has been saying and he also wants us to believe that he HAS heard what the Rev. HASN'T said. Now does this make Obama a liar or are we to chalk up this fabrication ?
